From Design to Delivery

This course approaches construction from a design perspective. The first part of the session explores the fundamentals of design, covering design basics, history, thematization, themed finishes, and the artisans who create them. While this section leans more design-oriented, it establishes the essential foundation contractors and developers need to understand how design directly impacts build efficiency, profitability, long-term performance, and life cycle costs.

The second part of the presentation translates these concepts into the contractor’s world. Using real-world case studies with resinous and hybrid systems, we demonstrate how smart design decisions lead to smoother installs, reduced rework, and more durable, profitable results. These examples illustrate how design and constructability work hand in hand, enabling builders to deliver projects faster, on budget, and at a higher level of quality.
