My Story

Select Surface Solutions was founded a decade ago following my retirement from a distinguished career in advanced science education spanning over two decades. This transition into the concrete industry was a natural progression, as I was raised in an environment where custom home construction was a family legacy, with my father being an integral part of it. My sisters and I actively participated in this trade alongside our father during our college years.

My upbringing also instilled in me a diverse skill set, thanks to my mother, who imparted valuable lessons in sewing, cooking, gardening, painting, and encouraged a lifelong commitment to learning and creating rather than simply purchasing.

From our humble beginnings, Select Surface Solutions initially collaborated with a sole manufacturer, Surecrete. However, as time has passed, we have strategically aligned ourselves with nearly a dozen other reputable manufacturers, including Coating Solutions, Butterfield, Ameripolish, Sika, and World Diamond Source, among others. This strategic expansion empowers us to offer an extensive and diversified range of decorative concrete and coating products.

At Select Surface Solutions, we take immense pride in assisting our contractors by providing technical support for products, offering solutions to intricate job challenges, and conducting training sessions on unfamiliar products and techniques. We believe in fostering a collaborative environment, and we are proud to acknowledge the Women in Architecture, Construction, and WACP, which provides a valuable platform for women to connect, network, and receive the support they deserve.
